Management Confusion and the Principles of IM by Bob Boiko

Most organizations suffer from management confusion. Are we managing documents or content? Records or assets? Do we need separate systems for each info “thingie” that we manage or can we buy a single “enterprise” system? In this talk I will try to reconcile the various managements and show you how to unite them under a simple set of principles that apply regardless of the management type and can directly drive the specification, implementation and evaluation of any management system.
